New Bird of Prey Rescue, Repair, Rehabilitation and Release Facility

Trowunna Wildlife Park, in partnership with TasNetworks, was today very pleased to announce the grand opening of its new Bird of Prey Rescue, Repair, Rehabilitation and Release Facility, that has been developed under the Sanctuary's broader Bird of Prey Conservation Program.

The new enclosures consist of a walk-through rehabilitation centre with one-way viewing glass, off-display repair and rehabilitation hospital mews and a new large-scale Wedge-tailed Eagle free-flight aviary.

A huge thank you to the TasNetworks Team for working with us on this program! We are also very grateful to all who attended today's facility opening for supporting bird of prey conservation.
